Cucumber Salad Breaks Social Media
Very demure, very viral

Hi everyone, Samer here 👋 ! Happy Monday!
The past two weeks have been all about being demure and eating a whole cucumber (which I wrote about in my last issue)
Off we go!
Modernize your marketing with AdQuick
AdQuick unlocks the benefits of Out Of Home (OOH) advertising in a way no one else has. Approaching the problem with eyes to performance, created for marketers with the engineering excellence you’ve come to expect for the internet.
Marketers agree OOH is one of the best ways for building brand awareness, reaching new customers, and reinforcing your brand message. It’s just been difficult to scale. But with AdQuick, you can easily plan, deploy and measure campaigns just as easily as digital ads, making them a no-brainer to add to your team’s toolbox.

🥒 Eating an entire cucumber
This has been going on for at least two weeks and has broken the internet making Iceland run out of cucumbers.
To refresh our minds, it all started with TikToker Logan’s recipes and then blew up with everyone making their own.
The salad is delicious btw, tried it twice so far.
@logagm Best way to eat an entire cucumber
By the time I’m writing this, the social media and marketing worlds have moved on from this, but the lead up to this had The White House, Dunkin Donuts, and Kim Kardashian all use it.
The creator, Jools Lebron, has already secured brand deals. The first to jump on it was Lyft. Bravo!
Here’s the massively viral video for y’all:

📰 Nobody will remember
Last week, X user James Hawkins shared a tweet that started off sounding like an "inspirational" LinkedIn post.
"Nobody will remember: your salary, how 'busy you were,' how many hours you worked," he began.
It's the silliness of the second half, however — listing the things people definitely will remember about you—that got tens of thousands of likes, and sparked a whole bunch of copycat tweets, LinkedIn posts, branded posts, everything.
It’s funny ‘coz it’s true 🥲
nobody will remember:
- your salary
- how “busy you were”
- how many hours you workedpeople will remember:
- if you hopped on a quick call
- when you hopped on a quick call
- how many quick calls you hopped on
- how you made them feel when you hopped on a quick call— James Hawkins (@james406)
